it’s been an interesting couple of weeks. first, miss G has moved back to Ohio. combined with mr B going back to school… there has been an adjustment, once again, to a quiet house. good news is, miss G is getting things in order quickly, and seems very happy & excited about her future. and mr B is having a great start to the new school year.. and even seems focused to make up for his last two years of slacking!! can’t ask for much more than that, as a mom!
the cloud that looms over my family this week, is the loss of my maternal grandfather. that’s the last of my grandparents, which makes me not only sad.. but realize just how old I’m getting! his loss is not a surprise, as he has been suffering for quite some time with congestive heart failure and complications of diabetes. [yes folks.. that’s why I jumped in with both feet to take care of myself, when I was diagnosed!] I’m happy he is no longer suffering.. and that my dear mother no longer has to take care of him and witness that daily struggle.
I’ve been getting some work done on the laundry room. YEA for progress!! also, the business is starting off with lots of interest.. and even some real customers! our very first customer was so satisfied.. she’s back for us to do the rest of her wedding stationary! we’re thrilled!! lots of questions about whether or not we do anything other than wedding stuff.. the answer is YES!! we are more than happy to customize designs for any event. so please spread the word! :)
have a blessed weekend everyone! xoxo -tracie
Oh Tracie I am so sorry to hear about your grandfather passing... I do understand the pain of what you are going through having been there myself.
ReplyDeleteBut you have such exciting news about the business, and Miss G and Mr B! Take care now and good luck! (sorry I"m a bit distracted right now as I am trying to figure out why I am smelling what smells like spruce right now... nope no trees or even scented candles. Its puzzling and driving me a bit bonkers with curiosity. ha ha!)
HOpe you have a great weekend!!
Love your site, Tracie. Found you through Circle of Bliss and so glad I did! Very sorry to see the first post I read is of a loss, though. My condolences. xo
