well.. he finally popped the question and put a RING on it! my baby girl is ENGAGED!!!
It happened over Thanksgiving.. please forgive me for taking so long to make the announcement! It’s been a crazy, crazy time. I’ve been traveling, and then once I got home, the flu bug hit my house hard! On the mend now, and back to work.. so I am thankful for my health, and happy to announce the happy news to all of you!

Brent designed the ring… I think he did an amazing job!!
Here’s Gretchen’s explanation for the significance of the ring:
The trillion cut is significant to us as I have always told him I want the kind of relationship that when you look at a triangle - God is at the top, and me an my significant other are the bottom points. We can only get closer to each other if we get closer to God.
Isn’t that a beautiful sentiment, from a couple of young people?! I’m so proud of them both. Gretchen has continued to grow and mature, making her pops and I so very proud of the young woman she has become. Brent will be a wonderful son-in-law, and even more wonderful husband to our little girl. We are blessed to be adding another son to our family. :)
